2012 Excellence in Medicine Award Recipient, Dr. Roz Roach Dr. Roz Roach began her career as an RN, with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Social Science, a Masters Degree in Trans-cultural Psychiatry with training in Psychotherapy / Psychoanalysis, Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Health and Human Sciences. She is Founder and President of Nu-Life and Longevity, an international centre supporting the promotion of optimum health and wellness.

Dr. Roz is the first black woman in Canada to negotiate with 3 levels of government and raised 5 million dollars to build Dr. Roz‘s Healing Place, where she is CEO; a Centre for abused women, children, youth and youth at risk. She‘s on a campaign to raise 5 million dollars to build The Changa House, a National Centre for children, youth and youth at risk.
